This past weekend, Henry Mott stepped onto the tennis courts at Star Island Resort to compete in a USTA Level 6 tournament, and he put on a fantastic performance! Henry trains hard at Clermont Tennis Academy, attending our Tournament Training Program on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5-7 PM, and his effort showed on the court.

Tournament Recap

In the first round, Henry faced a tough competitor in Jace C., putting up a great fight but falling 1-6, 1-6. Despite the scoreline, he showed great movement and shot selection, gaining valuable experience against a seasoned opponent.

In the second round, he matched up against Malcolm S., where he fought hard but came up short 1-4, 0-4. Henry stayed composed and competed with determination, proving he belongs at this level.

A Promising Future in Tournament Tennis

Henry is constantly improving, and this tournament was an important step in his growth as a competitor. The transition from practice to tournament play is never easy, but Henry approached it with a great attitude, strong work ethic, and fighting spirit.
